Im a 3d artist. Ive recently finished some contract work (Feb 2008) for a VFX studio in London where I was a Lead Character Modeller. I modelled, uv'ed and textured almost 30 out of 60 characters in 4 months and corrected other characters by the other modellers, either rebuilding bad topology or tweaking models to match the concept art. Im looking forward to seeing the characters come to life in April on TV...
I was employed by News International Ltd/ aka The Sun Newspaper for 4 years in 2003. I was part of a small team of 4 guys who create a 3d online comic strip on a daily basis with VERY tight deadlines. I was the senior guy there, so you could almost say I was lead artist . Apart from the main artwork I drew alot of the storyboards to help the other guys envison the look of the comic but my favourite part of the job is creating 3d characters from scratch in Maya.
